I made a little logo design resumé page; you can see it if you
want by clicking the snowflakes... I also added "logo design"
to the list of services offered by giardiacorp.
I want to make more logos.
Daniel is [re]learning how to drive a manual transmission
automobile. My mom was nice enough to give us her car.
I don't think I'm a very good driving instructor.
Also,
I am sad that Marcus no longer has a
website.

Remember Tara Lee? She has nice cheekbones. Well... anyways... Mei-Lynne and Tara just started a bath products business (in addition to Tara's podiatry practice) called "Hella Good." I am not sure if I personally could use her products though. Maybe if they had something that would make me smell like "bicycle grease, chlorine, and espresso" instead of "mangoes, coconut milk, and oatmeal." Or maybe I should just get over my gender insecuities and treat my skin to some "apricot oil, cocoa butter, and brown sugar."
Peter, Haruna, and Richard "Ffflood / Xiaojing's Boyfriend" Wright are performing as O/Cellotron on Saturday the 25th of September, in apature 2004. Maybe I can get Haruna to wear my ski hat on stage.
bye-bye cellphone

Wow, I have not updated in a long long time. I guess the big news of the day is I am at a JewelHeart buddhist retreat up the Hudson River. It's beautiful here, and we are directly across the river from West Point and its vast reservoirs of military testosterone. As usual, I brought my camera with me and have taken zero pictures.
So I went hiking yesterday, and afterwards I wrote a little email to Daniel about my hiking/rockclimbing experience:
so... i was hiking in the woods and i went off the
trail and there's these rocks over the train tracks,
it's not quite a cliff but it's very steep. anyways i
dropped my cellphone and it fell probably the
equivalent of 3 stories down the cliff. =( i started
climbing after it but it is pretty challenging
climbing and i didn't know if it was worth it. i can
deal with the expense and inconvenience but it sucks
that i haven't backed up the numbers. so i dunno. now
i can't call anyone. i stopped climbing after it cuz i
imagined if you saw me you would be getting madder and
madder cuz its not exactly safe and nobody knew i was
there.
So the moral of the story is, if you want me to ever call you, you'll have to email me your number. Or i guess leave it on my voicemail, I'll still check that occasionally. Ack. I can't believe I didn't back up my numbers, after laughing at so many other people who lost their phone directories.
It was so cinematic though. The phone teetered for a second on a rock, I reached to grab it but ended up knocking it off, and it bounced and tumbled down the cliff like coyote in the cartoons.
