This is one of the sayings of Jigoro Kano, founder of Judo, and I
like it because it also embodies cooperative and Buddhist principles.
Jita kyoei is something that you can really feel if you're working
with any decent Judo blackbelt.

But the definition has changed over time and space, so that the consensus
definition reached by the Hapa Issues Forum in 1994 was "part Asian."

would be 100% hapa.
